- More than 40% of woredas have conducted the pre-budget discussion and 46% of participants are women. The pre-budget discussion is a forum on which citizens come together with their local authorities on planning, priorities and budget allocation issues. This is planned to continue as one of the disbursement Linked Indicators under the Enhancing Shared Prosperity through Equitable Services (ESPES) Program for Result (PforR) program.
- Public procurement implementation and Audit finding information has been starting posting at local levels.
- Financial Transparency and Accountability Impact Assessment has been done and it is almost finalized.
All the processes of dissemination of posting public budget information, enhancing the understanding of citizens regarding the public budget formulation and spending processes, utilization of Mass Media (Radio and TV) programs as a means of enhancing citizens understanding, and engaging citizens at local development plan.
